Mayor Henry Garrett will be among those welcoming the 105-foot-long Mega Yacht “CALIXAS” to the Municipal Marina on the Corpus Christi Bayfront. The vessel is expected to dock at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Dock “E” which is located at the Peoples Street T-Head. The yacht should arrive near Harbor Bridge at approximately 1:30 p.m. and be escorted to Dock “E” by the City of Corpus Christi Marina Patrol. 

            The $8-million “CALIXAS” is the first vessel to arrive in Corpus Christi for the “Texas International Boat Show,” which is expected to draw more than 400 boats from around the world to the marina. The event will be held from Thursday, April 26 through Sunday, April 29, 2007.
